The carefully selected and roasted beans at the heart of this special Espresso blend are from the finest single origin Arabicas with a hint of Robusta.
A rich and lasting crema, dark and smooth velvety softness and low acidity rewards with a full, clean and yet delicate mouth feel of dark chocolate and vanilla with a deep, honey coloured crema and lightly burnt caramel undertones throughout the flavour profile.

Il Regio Cantata is prepared in the tradition of top quality limited edition capsules and is referred to by some as the "Dom Perignon" of the capsule coffees. Cantata is inspired by the most famous coffee fiend and music genius Johann Sebastian Bach and his opera Coffee Cantata.
This is a full bodied single origin certified fair trade organic arabica, grown at 5,000ft above sea level. Cantata is an elegant and rich full bodied coffee, with a good thick and luscious flow producing a rich crema with hints of chocolate and vanilla. The dark roast and low acidity produce a lingering mouthfeel reminiscent of the great Viennese coffeehouses of the Bach era.

Bach composed in 1732 The Coffee Cantata, a short opera, based on an amusing poem that mocked the public outcry about the rise of the Vienna coffeehouse scene.
At the time, coffee was considered a dangerous "vice". In the opera, the coffee addicted Lieschen whose father Schlendrian wants to stop her from drinking coffee

When her father, old Schlendrian goes off to see if he can find a husband for his daughter; Leischen secretly lets it be known "no suitor is to come to my
